OUR PROJECT POSTER
In our project, our students explored digital learning through engaging platforms like Blooket, Wordwall, Educaplay and Kahoot. The use of these web tools helped us discover that we can turn our traditional English practice into dynamic experience with active participation, enhancing vocabulary knowledge in a fun way. By incorporating technology into English learning practices, our team students developed their skills in an enjoyable way. Our students improved their digital literacy and discovered a new way to develop their language level even on their own in an online way.
We highly recommend our colleagues to incorporate the use of these web tools into their teaching practices since we are the educators in the technology area and our students are digital natives!
In this activity, our students shared their games with their peers from different partner schools in an online meeting! They played one another's games. It was so fun to share their experience and challenge each other!
As part of our creative, fun and EASY English learning journey, our students also experienced a fun and energetic miming game. They prepared cards on various topics and acted out the words silently, while their teammates tried to guess them. They also used fun masks of different characters, animals or art design. This fun and exciting activity reinforced their vocabulary and self-confidence. By combining movement with meaning, our teams and their classmates improved their language recall and communication skills in a playful, memorable way.
Here are some beautiful images presenting their enjoyable and educational moments in this great activity:
Learning English Through Play: Bingo in the Classroom
In our project, we also involved Bingo! game as a fun and educational activity to learn and/or teach English. Our students took a motivating approach to language learning by designing their own Bingo cards made about various topics, including grammar and vocabulary (irregular verbs, food and drinks, movies, etc.). These interactive games supported our team to reinforce knowledge because our students eagerly played with their peers, tested their understanding while having fun. Bingo game is a powerful educational tool as it encourages active participation, boosts confidence in language use, and fosters collaboration. By this fun and engaging activity, our team students enhanced their English lexicon and skills in an enjoyable and meaningful way, making learning feel more natural and rewarding.
Bingo is highly recommended for the educators and learners in any educational context!
Here are some nice moments from our experience in Bingo Time! Event:
As part of our eTwinning project: EASENGLISH, our students started a journey to understand why learning English is essential in today's world. They conducted some research, learned how English connects people globally, opens doors to career opportunities, and enriches cultural understanding. Based on their findings, they created engaging presentations, sharing their knowledge with classmates and even visiting other classrooms to have discussions and inform different students. Their enthusiasm transformed these seminars into dynamic learning experiences, inspiring their peers to see language as a bridge to new adventures. This activity not only strengthened their research, presentation and communication skills but also boosted their confidence in using English in real-world contexts.
In this activity, we believed that if people know why they are supposed to do something, they will definitely be more engaged and successful! Thus, we wanted our students to comprehend why they really need to learn English and so, they can be more motivated to learn it!
Here are some collages from the seminar activity conducted by our team students!
We hope that our activity inspires many other educators in developing their own educational contexts.
